This is wonderful. This whole image is done out of type to create the illusion of the jokers face, and what better way to do it than using one of his most famous lines. I find the check/jaw line is even done out of a HA to surround all of the other HAHA as the yellow teeth. This example also shows how much color can effect a piece as well.

This is great. once you become good at something why not push yourself and do something that is not typical like using a different medium for your work. In this case it was done on Styrofoam cups. It makes the art look that much more unique and original and differently an eye catcher. I feel like this guy could sit in a coffee shop all day drawing on peoples cups.

One day I wish I could open up my own sketchbook and have some examples like this to show. I know there already is a couple people in class that resembles this type and I could spend a lot of time looking thru theirs. It seems like every time I start to draw lines it ends up as just that... lines. I hope I can start to turn my lines into images like the examples shown here

This reminded me of the blend exercise we did in class with the computer mouse. After doing that exercise I now realize how fairly simple it is to design something like this in Illustrator I like this step by step example that you can follow along and get an idea of how it is done without all the descriptions.

Chalk are out in the public. I wish I could see a piece like this when I was walking down the street. It would differently put a smile on my face. It is very clever and well done and at the same time this one is telling a story that grabs your attention and keeps you focused longer. The only down side is this is gone on the next good rain.

This is a great example of positive and negative space to form into legs both female and male. I like how the men's leg are in black as if he was wearing a suite and the women white giving the feeling she could be wearing a dress with bare legs showing. Im not sure where a pice like this could be used all I can think of is mabey a musical/Broadway poster. but overall a very clever idea.

I know I have already done a bar code on this blog but they still are some of my favorite and I hope I get the chance to design one some day. I wish we could see more of these on existing products at the store. this one makes great use of the lies turning into noddles as the fork picks it up.
